Petite Paintings

Jo Gamel

May 1 - May 29, 2026

3 × 3 inch original oil paintings, each one tucked into a vivid yellow cake box, functioning as both a frame and a gift. Glossy, contained, and ready to be kept, collected, or gifted from heart to heart.

Made one per day over 100 days, these are glimmers of pleasure translated into paint, fleeting winks from the universe at an intimate scale. Each box carries its own petite world.

Collect one for yourself. Pick one up for someone else.

Start a set. Create a wall.

A little luxury with no occasion required.

Opening First Friday May 1st at the Jane Gallery in the annex gallery
